Alana Green, Il Dan, Green Tag, Certified Chief Instructor, School Owner

Ms. Green is a graduate of Saint Mary's University holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Small Business & Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Alana was named Nova Scotia Student Entrpreneur of the Year 2006 by ACE and CIBC. Ms. Green opened her school in September 2005. Shortly afterwards, she traveled to Choi Kwang Do Headquarters, where she trained with Senior Master Pereira, II Dan 7th Degree to attain her Black Belt. Alana even had the opportunity to train one-on-one with Grandmaster Choi, founder of Choi Kwang Do, where she was taught firsthand the history and philosophy along with the technique of the martial art. Before leaving Headquarters, she attained the level of first degree Black Belt and bacme a certified Chief Instructor, which she has put to good use, instructing students at her school in Halifax.

Class Information

Class Format:

• Recitation of Promise, Pledge & Principles
• Yoga-style Stretching (15 minutes)
• Techniques
• Patterns*
• Speed Drills*
• Defense Drills*
• Air Shield Attack*
• Children-Games / Adults-Cool Down

*Classes will consist of 2 or 3 of these exercises and will alternate.

Where are the Classes Held?

Classes are located at Fort Massey Church, 5303 Tobin Street, in downtown Halifax.
